The Dakota Hotel - Sioux Falls

We had a fun night here where the kids couldn't get enough of the pool with the waterslide, and the room came with a large fridge that was super handy. Relaxation was easy with a great BBQ area and a cozy patio to chill on. The only downside was a bit of excess chlorine, made our eyes burn during swim time 😊

It has very very nice employees.

Fairly clean hotel in a pretty nice area. Extremely spaciousroom with the bathroom and a wonderful breakfast, for example as advertised. A great selection of good food at breakfast time. Great location, just walking distance from everywhere.

easy access to parks and local attractions for city strolls

I stayed for one night and loved that I was just a short drive from Falls Park and the Great Plains Zoo, making it so easy to explore the beautiful sights, and even though the room wasn't the most enjoyable, the nearby parks offered amazing walking paths and views .

The rooms had a home like decor and comfortable I liked that it didn't have those ugly comforters that normal hotels have

The bed side lamps did not work

The location is particularly good, the staff is pleasant. The airport is 0.5 miles away, easy to get to. The rooms are reasonably spacious and accommodating for a wonderful breakfast, so that guests have essentials.

Unexpected warmth

Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the staff, made our long drive worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable, setting a pleasant tone for our getaway.

Unfortunately, the breakfast options fell short. We were hoping for a little more variety than just bagels and cereal, especially after hearing great things.

Great fun for the fam!

We had a blast! The kids loved the water park, especially the slide. Our 15-month-old had fun in the zero-entry section. The breakfast area was super cozy, and we scored a good deal for a family of eight. One issue though, the pool towels were always missing. Still, we made some awesome memories!

The friendly front desk staff made check-in easy. The room was clean with plenty of towels, and it had a great selection of breakfast options like waffles and fresh muffins.

The location is excellent and the staff was friendly and accommodating . The pool issues were disappointing, lack of hot water was inconvenient, and the cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations, which dampened the overall experience. Would consider returning for the friendly service.

The Dakota offered a pleasant atmosphere with a well-decorated lobby and comfortable workspaces. The staff remained courteous and helpful throughout my stay, especially when I needed assistance with my presentation equipment. The business center was a great asset, providing the necessary resources for my work requirements.

Just a prime choice for a brief pause in Sioux Falls with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast area was clean, but limited selection.
